Just a few weeks ago we announced that iMarketings.eu was shortlisted in the Global Google competition among EMEA Premier Partners. Including ourselves, 43 agencies from the whole EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region were nominated for the Search Innovation Awards.
Today we joined those other agencies at a special awards ceremony. Despite not getting into the top 3 winning spots, to be shortlisted and able to attent the event is a huge achievement for an agency that has grown to almost 20 employees in the 4 years since starting.
During the event there were discussions about four main topics to keep us learning, inspired and motivated. Those were: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Digital Disruption and Postdigital. The event was divided into two parts: (1) a conference session, where various speakers spoke over the course of 6 hours, and (2) the Award Ceremony, where the most innovative EMEA agencies were decided
During the conference session, which took place in the Google office in Dublin, a wide spectrum of speakers who are experienced specialists in their field gave talks, such as Kenny Jacobs (Ryanair CMO), Mike Butcher (Techcrunch Editor at large), Helena Ambiana (Head of Google partners EMEA), Fionnuala Meehan (VP, Google marketing solutions) among others. During the session, the invited agencies were presented with various digital strategies, agency management, and helpful tool concepts, which will undoubtedly add to iMarketings.eu’s services offered to current and potential clients.
The award ceremony took place in one of Ireland’s most sophisticated event venues – Mansion House. During the ceremony, one agency from each category was awarded. This year, there were a total of 6 nominee categories: Search innovation; Display innovation; Mobile innovation; Shopping innovation; Video innovation and Growing innovation.
“Taking into account that we have created several innovative solutions in Google advertising campaign management, we decided to enter the Search Innovation Award category. We submitted a detailed description to Google on our know-how: how we work with clients, how we manage Google advertisements, as well as the results of our work. We are proud that we were the only digital marketing agency from the Baltics to be shortlisted. We were honored to represent Latvia and compete for ‘medals,’“ said Dr. Sergejs Volvenkins, iMarketings.eu Head of Digital.
